us is andrew wilson. he is chief executive of goldman sachs asset management for europe, the middle east, and africa. we talked about ukraine and the impact on emerging markets. you said today, pick your countries, pick them well, and it has exposure to the u.s. such as mexico or strong fundamentals. what else do you like? >> we focus on growth. we are still confident about the u.s. story. a little more cautious because there is a downshift in chinese growth. we have a vat hike coming up at the end of this month. the whatncerned about that does to bring down japanese growth as well. we're a little bit wary of countries that are very exposed to the softness in asian growth. that's another area i would say we are more cautious around. >> are there other areas you havingd now you are second thoughts because the resources haven't been pushed through enough? >> i think we have then biased towards the u.s.. we have had a view the u.s. economy is doing reasonably well, so anything geared towards that we would li

let's get more on ukraine now and andrew wilson is a senior of the european counsel and he is live inn and an awful lot of posturing here, a huge amount of force from the russians but just how far do you think they are going to go? well, they have already gone a lot further than people expected. initially, well, at least until a week ago they seemed to be playing a longer game and confident the new government in kiev would not last very long but they have control of crimea and the question is if they will extend inflews in different ways but at least in ukraine and there were a lot of rallies over the weekend orchestrated and supported by the russians. >> reporter: ukraine is a very different story to georgia for example which is the last time we saw such amount of troops and crimea has significant amount of support for kiev as well. >> complete in two ways, in 2008 when russia went toward georgia, and the georgians were provoked to firing first by most credible accounts and russia had something of a spell. it doesn't really here. it has not constructed a cover story for its operation
