andy scholes was describing the way he walks. he doesn't bounce up. he's not a spring chicken anymore. his body has lived many, many lives. and so when he won in 2019, it seemed as though this could be the last. now, he has been playing up until the end of last year. he was just undergone a fifth back surgery. this one to relieve pressure on a disk. he had another trapped nerve feeling in his back. he was asked just over the weekend in los angeles, are you going to be playing the masters, coming up in seven weeks' time? the assumption was, of course, he will be. tiger's response was, god i hope so. you can tell how much it means to him to be playing in this tournament he has already won five times but you could tell in the look in his eye he wasn't sure. the follow-up question was i assume you'll play a warm-up tournament before then and he said i don't know. i don't have a plan. i really don't know what the plan is. now to have this event just a couple of days later, and we're all now speculating as to what this means. it doesn't sound great, does it

andy scholes has this morning's bleacher report.sunday morning. >> yeah, we have a game still. but you could imagine if a number of these players were not available because they were trying to get a hair cut. that is a scenario here that nearly happened. according to multiple reports, a number of kansas city chiefs players were in line to get a hair cut and including patrick mahomes, when they found out that the barber tests positive for covid. the back-up center kill grove was in the chair when they found out. they were both wearing masks and kill gore posting this picture on twitter saying, hashtag, new prefile pick. since kill gore was deemed in close contact, the barber did finish his hair cut. and he and demarcus robinson are opts covid reserve and they could play on sunday if they have five negative tests. there is nothing usual about this super bowl. chiefs are practicing in kansas city all week long and not flying to tampa until saturday afternoon. that is just a little over 24 hours before kickoff. and in the meantime, the
