angeles is live tonight in long beach and has the latest on the storm's impact. leanne. one of the areas of great concern here in southern california is for catalina island. catalina express now adding more boats to its schedule tonight to get everyone off of that island as quickly as possible, certainly before hurricane hillary hits. as you might imagine, time is of the essence just take a look and listen. we just needed to make sure that we were going to get home safe to san diego. we love being around the area, but also we need to get back just in case hillary does some damage. we are preparing to have enough boats to bring people back over today, but we really want people to take advantage of that today because tomorrow this hurricane is expected to hit landfall and we will really see the strong winds. and back on the mainland here, there's certainly a lot of concern for flooding in low lying areas here in long beach. crews have been helping residents pack up as many sandbags as possible. they've also built berms along the beach to try to prevent any of the flooding that would come in from the ocean. there certainly is so much concern here in southern
