eyewitness news this morning's angela jacobs found out investigators say the suspect displayed a real looking badge and handcuffs. >> reporter: umberto xavier santiago sits behind bars, accused of impersonating a law enforcement officer to allegedly steal a resident's car from this pointsettia subdivision. heads around the scenario. quiet neighborhood, everybody strange. >> reporter: the victim told deputies a man who identified himself as detective santiago with orlando police came to his door along picadilly circle last week and showing this altered badge along with handcuffs told him his car was reported stolen. he could give it up or go to jail. the victim handed over the keys but later called authorities and helped create this composite sketch. the next day, detectives found td -- the vehicle at the east orlando car lot and told us the owner recognized the suspect as xavier, the repo man. he paid xavier to go get the car but didn't know how it was done. from there, detectives i.d.ed santiago who they say admitted to using the modified badge and cuffs to intimidate people. no one

angela jacobs is live. angela, investigators say the driver made a mistake before the crash. driver hit the bridge is just behind me. you can see the crane down the road. that is where workers are trying to use it to take down a crumpled highway sign damaged in the collision. it is also where cars have been routed off the interstate for the past 4 hours at exit 260. fhp tells us it was around 7:15 when the driver dumped a load at a construction site along the interstate but then forgot to lower the bed of the truck before she continued driving in the northbound lane. fhp says the 52-year-old was transferred to the hospital with injuries but they are considered to be non-life threatening. all southbound lanes are open. fhp cautions the northbound lanes heading into this overpass and the area around will continue to be shut down until at least 4 am so crews can continue to clear the roadway and inspect the bridge. my photographer and i drove in long even with the delays. you want to keep in mind that might cha
