angie goff, we're look for some heat and weather. what about the roads? >> right now, we have the yellow light on because our top traffic story of the morning has been this car fire out in the laurel area. live picture live from sky 9, this is the situation. we have an investigation going on not only is it a car fire, we're hearing from officials that there is a fatality involved and that is what's taking so long here on westbound 198 and why the ramp remains closed for those drivers trying to go southbound on 95. now, as you can see, the car fire is into the trees right there. it is going to probably be quite some time before they get all of this wrapped up. they, in fact, can't give us a time they think the ramp is going to be reopened. this is what you need to know. you'll want to use gunpowder road over to powder mill and that's going to get you back on to 95. good news is we do have an alternate. we'll keep an eye on this and keep you posted throughout the morning. let's take you over to our maps and show you how other places are shaping up. we remai

angie goff has monday morning traffic. what are you doing?n't get around a lot of our delays, that's part of d.c. traffic. we have one crash that we're watching, which is why we're keeping on the yellow light, this is 95 southbound at 216, it's off to the shoulder. traffic is getting by but very slowly. notice the red on the screen, slow starting at 32. use the baltimore washington parkway as an alternate this morning. 66 eastbound, it looks like the main congestion is between 50 and 123. 95 drivers northbound, it's very heavy from the prince william parkway over to the mixing bowl. you get brakes along the way but one solid delay. 395 stacking up from the beltway past seminary and crossing the 14th street bridge, where we have ongoing construction taking away the center lane. we're watching the rails, vre train number 3302, both are running about 20 minutes behind. still ahead we are taking a look at your top traffic stories of the morning at 6:58. mike? >>> thank you, angie. as expected, as we go to the top of the charts, latest installment

angie goff, good morning to you. >> three minutes away from the half hour.a tough ride for those of you traveling the inner loop. the reason why we have the yellow light on, a fatal accident that has the river road exit closed off currently. so, you're going to have to take old georgetown road. this is actually live pictures from this scene. you can see it is pretty bad. they're not telling us when they plan to reopen the ramp. factor in at least 12 minutes. that's without traffic. that's how long it took me this morning to get around this. old georgetown road, take that over to arlington. you'll make a right and a left on to bradley and then a right on to wisconsin once again. once again, the inner loop ramp to river road is closed down because of a fatal wreck. more on this coming up. we'll have a live report. also, some construction we're watching on the inner loop is between university and new hampshire in maryland and also at central avenue and 66 drivers, the roadwork between 123 and nutley has cleared out of the way. more construction in the area. com
