there is some warmth for a while across the south—east and across east anglia.potentially be the first named storm. that heads to scandinavia, we are left with this form of west to south—westerly winds, windy again on thursday, gusty particularly to the east of high ground, eastern scotland in the north of england. it is mainly northern areas of the uk that will see showers, perhaps longer spells of rain on the strong winds. further south, fewer showers, more in the way of sunshine, still warm, 19 or 20 degrees in the south—east. we end the week on a similar note, perhaps not quite as windy but again, wetter weather coming into scotland, northern ireland, northern england and into wales. it still looks generally dry though in the midlands and towards the south—east with temperatures 18 or 19 degrees. we still have some quite mild air across the uk for the start of the weekend. there is some colder airjust waiting in the north and we could get a bit of that for the second half of the weekend. as the wind direction changes, we get more of a north to north—westerly
