." - [voiceover] coming up, on animal control patrol. it's the start of a shift, or in this business, dispatch time. - deliver a hawk. - okay. - [voiceover] officer barajas gets her first assignment to transport a wounded hawk to a wildlife refuge where this bird of prey will be treated and rehabilitated in the hope of flying again. - he's definitely a red-shouldered hawk and he's an adult. - [voiceover] and then a loving and caring dog owner finds a precious little pooch roaming the streets, and takes him in for the night until animal control - come on, sweetie. all right. - [voiceover] and it's another case of community cooperation. a homeowner calls animal control about a stray but cute cat caught in a trap. - picked up my kitty and get it back to seaaca. - [voiceover] now all seaaca has to do is help him find a forever home. and peter cottontail is on the loose. this furry, floppy-eared rabbit may be a rare rescue, but you can bet officer barajas will get him cleaned up and to a caring family even though it's not even easter.
