our anjali hemphill is live this morning from southeast. >> reporter: good morning, guys. we're here at 19th and p street where this all ended and three female suspects were arrested and was just within the last half hour that the suspects get away truck was towed away from here with what appeared to be a bullet hole in the front windshield. the scene was also cleared shortly after but this all began just after 2am this morning when a call went out an f150 white ford pickup truck with four black males inside believed to be involved in robbery off minnesota avenue. it was about an hour later when u.s. park police say say they spot add truck that managed the description then start to do pursue it. they say the sus suspectings led them on short chase eventually ending here on 19th street. now police say the suspects tried to take off out of the car on foot but they were later apprehended and park police do say during the apprehension at some point an officer's gun was fired. it is unclear why. but they maintain there were no injuries or damage
