ann berry joins us to discuss this further ann, thanks for joining us i guess the key first question around the health care space is a bit of spin from microsoft and it's really focused on other areas? >> well, i think it's a very smart move for helping microsoft expand into the enterprise ai space but the market aside, if you take the ai speech recognition capabilities of nuance, if you marry it with a number of conversations that microsoft teams can listen to and then think about where microsoft could go if it's successful in some of its pursuit of buying social media platforms. it went after tiktok, it's going after discord, i think it's not beyond the realm of possibility that going after clubhouse with a much more highly educated speech-to-transcript talk could definitely be in the cards >> is this going to put microsoft in the midst of a data privacy kind of question mark that they may regret going forward? >> i think it could absolutely put microsoft into the middle of that conversation but i don't know if it's necessarily one that would be regrettable. i think microsoft as we

get the read on the implications going forward with mark hammer, bankrate senior economic analyst, ann berry joining us as well. ann, we begin with you then on what we are to make of this jobs report, because it's just more ammunition to those who think rates are going up. they are and they will. what do you think? >> that's right, but it's really important to look at exactly where those jobs are coming from not only by industry, neil, but also by geography. hospitality, we're hearing in these markets in florida hit very hard the restaurants and hotels to get labor in markets like florida right now through a combination of exceptionally high demand, in some case unemployment support has been a little harder to get folks to come back to work and there's nervousness. individuals need to have a sevens of safety in their workplace -- sense of safety in their workplace, and not everyone is there yet. the recovery implied by this great data continues to come out, but there are some parts of the country that are really lagging behind. neil: so, mark, how grow see the rate situation going looking at

ann berry. app, the administration's take on -- ann, the administration's take on this is it is much a ado about nothing. but if the rich do -- [audio difficulty] generally acknowledging. >> yeah. i think the market has shown what its reaction is, neil, already. and i agree with that new york times article. think that 3% move is probably -- 1% move is probably the extent of it. i think that there is a probability that the proposed capital gains hike comes in lower, that it'll be negotiated down, that it will impact a relatively small sector of the u.s. taxpayer base, and i think the impact on the market that we've seen so far reflects that. so i think looking at a number of other policies in the ago aggregate, it shows the democrats are doing what they said they were going to do. they're going to lean in to welfare, find a way to fund it, but i think market is showing a fairly limited response to it so far. neil: you know, i don't know if that -- with all respect to ann, gary -- i don't know if t
