ann compton, abc news traveling with the obama campaign in florida. >> the interesting part here, too, the new gallup poll out shows the president nationally has a five-point lead. saying he did get a bounce coming out of the convention in charlotte. really with the romney campaign, looking at carefully, state of ohio. a battleground state. now the president according to latest polls has a high single digit lead in the state. if romney does not win ohio, the path to the white house gets very, very difficult. so they're really watching that state closely out there. but the bad news for the obama campaign, of the 68%, of the 68%, most don't like the president too well white, college educated and aged. the president struggles in the groups. numbers getting interesting. >> a lot of people will be fascinated despite the jobs report he got such a bump, but the poll actually factored in, it was two days before the dnc and two days after, so the jobs report was factored into all of this, and with all of that a five-point edge over romney, biggest since july. >> crazy too. all this underscores
