richardsefeated ann richards has ann been my friend since the 1970's and i saw his campaign unfold, he had an agenda and it was about other people and their problems. some of it i agreed with, some of that i did not. that is the -- he said hire me and i will do x y and z. first ask for the job and second, give the reasons. pres. bush: yeah, like when you beat my old man.
