think a lot of people having a hard time imagining some of the things that are being said about ann walsh bradleyaying that the justice bradley initiated this confrontation. what about that? >> you know, i -- i think that's a case of blaming the victim. i think that way too often when someone is abusive toward another individual, particularly when a man is abusive toward a woman in the workplace, the instinct is to blame the victim. that's what's happening here, justice bradley's story came out, she was the victim of an act of violence. and go forth and justice prosser comes along and says, you know what, it's her fault. i think it's another case of blaming. >> first it went to the capital police, then it was referred to the sheriff's department. john nichols, where is this? is this taking a political twist in this investigation? >> i don't think so, ed. there's two investigations going on. one is being handled by the dane county sheriff's department. this operation has some terrific investigators, highly respected, not just in wisconsin, but nationally. they're on the case, doing the interviews
