cnn's anna coren is live with us in surabaya. anna what is latest? >> reporter: christine, it was such high hopes that the weather would break today. they sent out two divers to see the conditions. they got to the bottom and they said that visibility was zero. so those divers those 97 divers have been on stand by for the entire day. there are vessels out there and planes flying over. they did in fact locate another two bodies. they have been retrieved. taking the number to 39 bodies. they are now on their way to surabaya to the hospital here where they will be handed over to the disaster victim identification unit. they have the painstaking job of identifying these bodies. i was speaking to the head of the unit earlier today. he said that so far the bodies that have been brought in are in tact. so they have been able to identify them quite quickly. it is up to 16 of the number they have been able to identify and release the names to the public. his concern, however, as the days go by we are now at day ten, the bodies start to decompose in the water.
