anna: let's talk about bond markets. we are asking on the markets a live blog, when will negative yield spread to the u.s.? seen negative yields taking hold in japan, in europe. people asking when this is going to become reality in the u.s.. inhave seen this already 2008. we are talking about government bond markets. there are two parts to this. there are nominal yields, when do we get them negative? we are a long way from that. there is a proclivity to take credit to leverage up. lower interest rates do get taken advantage of much quicker. there is also an obsession with cash. restrictions are on the curve going negative like we have in europe. in adjusted terms, the u.s. still has very little negative real yield, even though one of my colleagues highlighted last ofk that the global pile negative real yielding blondes doubled the number. a phenomenal amount. the u.s. has a small percentage of that. there will be negative yields by the end of this year. when the fed cuts a couple of times, we will see quite a large chunk
