governor desantis both claiming victory along with numerous house candidates and that includes anna paulina lunapped charlie crist's florida house seat to red. congresswoman elect, anna paulina luna joins us now. how does that sound, congresswoman elect? congratulations. >> thank you very much. it's still very surreal. we are honored to have the support of many residents both bipartisan across the county. but we 12-1 so nothing can outdo a grass roots campaign and that's exactly what we were. >> ainsley: that's what happened with marco rubio, out-spent and out-raced but he still won by 16 points. i think a little more than 16 points. marco rubio won by almost 20 points. why are we seeing the red wave in florida? >> i think what happened after covid is many people that were under a lot of bad blue legislation moved here and they got active, not just in local politics but national politics as well. and so that's why you're seeing a shift. but, remember, we also have a very high percentage of the hispanic demographic that's largely been voting more and more over to the republican party platform. we

here to react is tell * gop congresswoman elect, anna paulina luna. you ran a great race. i ran in florida my sell. nobody knows what people are talking about better than you. his tannic voters, single voters, married voters all went tore ron desantis. what do you think the key was? >> many people that moved to the state of florida the last two years were largely leaving bad blue policies and did not like what happened in their communities during the covid-19 lockdown. these people had been fed up. they moved to florida and those voters become activity. democrats are haven't outspending republicans. where we have to make up for it is with the grassroots activism. i was the outspent 12-1. how i won this election, i went to the people with my messaging and as an america first candidate endorsed by the freedom caucus. i'm proud to say they elected me. dan: the democrats talk to hispanic voters like they are robots and auto matons. >> i think it was cringey to see how the -- nc and even biden had treated hispanics. a majority of hispanic americans are entrepreneurs, doctors an

and the democrat with a lead of four points over anna paulina luna.he vote to come in. it's going to be same-day vote and it's a question of will that be enough to lift luna over eric lynn. there was a little bit of talk in the run-up to today that this district, drawn so aggressively to favor republicans, that luna might be testing how far voters were willing to go. and you see from this early number, it does look competitive there. so that's one we'll be keeping a close eye on. there are several other districts in florida as well that were drawn for the same purpose that 13 was drawn. >> steve, can i ask you a georgia senate race, if we could go back to georgia for a second. the third party candidate there, the libertarian candidate, isn't expected to be in contention to win that seat. but in georgia, the performance of that libertarian candidate is important because if that candidate, chase oliver, does well enough to deny either warnock or walker 50% of the vote, that is what will determine whether we have a run-off in that race, correct? >> exact
