anna werner is in thailand with our update. anna? >> reporter: this is the first time we've heard from the boys, who recorded a series of videos from their hospital beds. in the clips, they thank everyone who played a part in their re one of the boys is a 14-year-old known as adul. >> reporter: he acted as translator for the british divers who first found the team in the cave. we spoke to one of adul's schoolteachers earlier this week. she told us how proud she was of him and called her student "a miracle boy." now, the boys appear to be in good spirits. they even asked for some of their favorite dishes. in a press conference, officials said the boys are in good physical and mental health and will be discharged as soon as possible. some family members told us they could be as early as thursday. meanwhile, the thai government says some 4,000 volunteers have been helping to clean up the area around the cave, which remains closed. and a funeral was held today, for the thai navy seal who died trying to help during the rescue efforts. ree
