a man is accused of 12-year-old girl inside a church kitchen in annandale. 47-year-old george aggravated sexual battery. the alleged incident happened sunday evening at cornerstone church. the suspect was there, attending a fellowship program with other people who have moved to the u.s. from sudan. the suspect also faces an abduction charge, because he allegedly forced the 12-year-old girl now to a disturbing investigation in pasadena, maryland. an 82-year-old grandmother, stabbed repeatedly by her own granddaughter. investigators say savannah weaver stabbed her grandmother- to "cut the demons out of her." the victim was rushed to the hospital and later released. weaver was taken into custody- and placed in the hospital for an evaluation. an update this morning on one of the national zoo's most famous residents. veterinarians say bei bei the giant panda cub is recovering well after emergency surgery. doctors had to blockage which turned out to be lemon-sized mass of chewed up bamboo. bei bei has been reunited with his mom but the panda house remains closed while he is under observation.
