it happened in annapolis at two dealerships west of west boulevard. roosevelt leftwich joins us with more. >> reporter: kelly, even police say it's unusual that the cars were stolen this way, and it's something that could happen anywhere. the thieves managed to get into an after hours lock box at two different dealerships getting the keys and taking off with the cars. it really does make you wonder how they were able to pull this off on sunday a thief was able to get into a narrow drop box opening and get two sets of keys at this toyota place in annapolis. they were able the do the same with the audi service drop box and make off with a keys for an audi left for repairs. it's something police say can't say it's happened much before. >> it's the percent time we've had so many happen at once we had three against from sunday to monday morning. it's a quick pattern developed quickly. we have had it in the past but not to this extent. >> reporter: representatives from both dealerships declined to comment but police say they are working with the dealerships
