metro, 72 in manassas, 73 in frederick, 71 in andrews and annapolis. on satellite and radar you can see those couple showers, but most of them are dissipating already because of that earlier sunset time we have now. the sun is already getting low in the sky. it was the sunshine that actually caused those clouds to bubble up in the first place. on 9 futurecast by the time we get to midnight we're completely clear. we'll have clear skies as we're starting the day saturday morning. then it gets warmer. by saturday afternoon you can see some showers, possibly even heavy rain with a coastal system that will remain offshore for the most part, but this system could bring some rain to the delmarva peninsula, not affecting us in the immediate metro area. it's the system that approaches from the northwest that will bring us some rain in the immediate metro area. the cold front starts to make its approach as we head toward dinner time, but we're still dry in the beltway. as we head into the evening, 9:00, we'll start to see some showers, possibly even a thunderst
