larry: we are learning more today about an overnight homicide in annapolis. when police arrived, they found a 39-year-old shot in the head. he died at the hospital. no word on suspects but police are asking anyone with information to give them a call. developing now, investigators are trying to figure out what caused a huge house fire in prince george's county. the home in accokeek went up in flames last night. >> the whole house went up in flames. reporter: neighbors described the chaotic scene. cell phone video captures flames raging through this home. a fire commander told first responders not to go in. minutes after, this structure collapsed. the only thing left, the front facade. news chopper 7 on the scene just minutes before, capturing the flames shooting into the night sky. when firefighters arrived, it was not just this house they were focused on, but neighboring houses. you can see the flames were so big and so hot, they melted the sides of the houses. >> they started with that house first because they did not want it to trickle down, going from hou

as we mentioned, six people were killed, including a midshipman from the naval academy in annapolis. jeanette reyes continues with our coverage in philadelphia. >> right now we are in one of the emergency rooms where 54 of the more than 200 patients were taken to the hospital after being rescued or escaping him the remains of that train. you can see it was a busy morning. we know six people are dead and we were numeral to confirm that among the dead is a 20-year-old navy midshipmen. he was on leave and on his way home when the tragedy happened. no other details are being released until next of kin are notified. earlier this morning, the chief medical officer told us that the most recent death, the six person, died shortly after arrival. more patients -- most of the patients complained of chest pains, broken bones, contusions from luggage laptops falling on them, passengers ramming into each other. listen to how they describe the horrific crash. >> the ones that were awake and could talk to me were the ones in the last two cars. i did not speak to anyone further ahead. they said it wa
