i got accepted into the naval academy annapolis, maryland after annapolis. i did a few years on the destroyer based out of may port florida. and then when you're at sea, you're training to be the guy directing this ship, where to navigate where to go. it's great fun, but it's also extremely high stress. but i loved it. i was pre selected for satellite systems engineering part of that was going to grad school. when i got the acceptance letter from him, he is one of those moments through just like this is not happening. you know, must be a mistake. but then, you know, stars of aligned and i was really happy all semester went off without a hitch. i had started a romantic relationship earlier that summer. the early spring is when things started to fall apart. my romantic relationship kind of took a turn, you know, became toxic. you know, i was in distress. i was overwhelmed. we were taken upwards of $45.00 graduate level courses a semester. and so i thought out care from the mental health clinic at mit, the campus clinic presented solution to my problems. was a

this went through annapolis. this was one of the first big weather events yesterday.as a dam that burst. the town of whitmore is flooded. this wedge tornado went through around 5:00 or 6:00, right before sunset. that in itself would be a huge headline breaking story all by itself. let me just show you some of the statistics here. newark with this storm had 8.44 inches of rain. central park had over 7 inches of rain. it wasn't like it was an isolated -- i mean new york had over 6 inches of rain. this was widespread from pennsylvania through new jersey and new york and into connecticut and it's still raining in areas in boston and cape cod. in one hour, newark had 3.24. that was the most ever recorded in a single hour. new york city, which has a period of record that goes back about 170 years had 3.15. both was the most it had ever seen in one single hour. as far as six hour totals. newark was 7.88. new york was 6.63. this was a one-in-500-year rainfall event. going into every year, the odds of this occurring, the odds of this occurring was 0.2. it's crazy. i was out ar
