anne is passionate, a hard worker. i think dan is a little mad at how much time she gives our office, but forbids fridays. we'll see. and i just have to speak for a moment about an example of her committ commitment to people she meets. anne met a homeless person named alice. they became very close friends. she brought her clothing, hot tea, shrimp fried rice and was, in my opinion, the deciding factor that convinced her to move inside and off the streets. she did that around november last year and passed away in february shortly thereafter. because of anne's compassion and determination, alice was able to spend the last few weeks of her life indoors, with a roof over her head, with anne, a close friend, by her side. and spend the rest of her life in dignity. i will never forget you for that and the impression that you made on me and on alice was profound. and i will be forever grateful to you. you are just a beloved, active member of our team. i don't know what we would do without you. you are an example to all of us a
