we are looking at an area in and around baltimore in to columbia and eastern howard county and northern anne arundel and eastern carroll. it is snowing pretty good here. the winds will be some problems, lighter flurries upper montgomery in to frederick county. the weather computer and show you the temperatures which are in the low 30s, upper 20s and most of the wind chills are in the teens. high wind warning until 6:00. >> i want to keep you posted on the traffic alert. 270 northbound is going to remain closed throughout the morning rush between the capital beltway and old georgetown road because of an overturned tractor-trailer carrying bananas. getting word the bananas are contained but they are dealing with a fuel spill. that's the big problem. the outer loom show you the delay here. things are picking up between university and georgia. have a little volume between 270 and wisconsin on the outer loop as well as you can imagine because of the accident on 270. 66 westbound at the fairfax county parkway, looks like that accident is cleared. eastbound the volume is picking up 50 to 123. in arlington

in the maryland officials continue investigation into what caused the deadly plane crash in anne arundel county. it went down in the yard of the single-family home. >> right behind me is with a single-engine airplane crashed. you can see how close it is to this home. the was one person in the home when the plane crashed into got out safely. although the plane crashed in a residential area and no one on the ground was injured. richard mayo lives at home close by and heard the crash. when he looked outside -- >> i saw there was something in the tree on fire in the poultry was on fire. there was fire all over the ground. i guess the fuel ignited on the ground. >> when firefighters arrived on the scene at around 4:30 p.m., the plan was on fire at the time of their arrival. crews extinguished it. it was determined there was one occupant who suffered a life- threatening -- fatal injuries as a result was pronounced dead at the scene. >> according to the airport manager the airplane flew out of lee airport, a quarter of a mile from where crash. it was registered to joseph kelly of annapolis. the one pe
