ann mackovic is in the north fair oaks area where hazmat crews were called to deal with chemicals in a truck. >> i would venture to say that these materials are not that hazardous because we're not very far from the right now. things seem to beat the escalating at the scene. here's what happened according to sheriff's officers. the hazmat team has not spoken with us so we're not exactly sure what kind of chemical they may have been dealing with. this is on addison way at a business technology park. apparently surest officers came upon some men that were working in a pickup truck around 3:30 a.m.. they deemed suspicious simply because there were guys hanging around a truck at 3:30 a.m.. once officers got there they say that they smelled a strong chemical smell and back off at that point. it wrote the area off and called in the fire department who then called an hazmat team. they have been between that truck and the building itself. we were under the impression that in that building which is in this technology park, there was some sort of laboratory there. but there is some confusion a

ann mackovic explains why no one knew the graves were there. >> this is one of those stories that you only hear in the movies. here in san jose, this is property of valley medical center and they have been building on it for some months. but, three months ago they unearthed these graves and now they think there could be up to 1400 of them beneath this property. crews have stopped working on this new hospital building right after they came upon this graveyard where hundreds of people are buried pre and post 1900. it is called potter's field. patients either too poor or with no known relatives were buried in pine boxes just a stone's throw from what is now the emergency room. decades later the cemetery was basically forgotten. in the '60s it was paved for a parking lot, the county still wants to build on the field but for now the project is on hold. >> no one from the county has gone in there, once those boxes were discovered, construction in that area halted. >> so now the county wants 100 graves to be route and find out if those people have any known relatives. a judge will also decid
