i'm anne makovec in for ryan yamamoto . we will have more from vegas coming up in a moment. first, our weather. >>> taking a live look outside as another round of wet weather hits the bay area. >> a mix of rain and hail pounding parts of the region today here in el cerrito. you can see some of the hail bouncing off the edge of the porch. the rain is making for slick conditions out on the roadways. here is traffic on the san mateo heywood bridge. check this out. the system is bringing a little bit of snow at the observatory on top of mt. hamilton. just a little dusting but it is cold enough that 4200 feet for some of that snow to stick. what are we looking at here? >> it is not an an atmospheric river but it is rain driven by an area of low pressure that swept throughout the bay earlier this morning and it is leaving more showers in the forecast for our friends in the south bay. let's take a quick look at what is happening. this is not an an atmospheric river event like what we had earlier. this area of low pressure came in from the gulf of alaska bringing breezy conditions.
