wintry weather which as chris mentioned does include more snow for our area "action news" reporter annie mccormack joins us live from the penndot yard in norristown with more, hi annie. >> reporter: hi, nydia. some officials from penndot say we will have a press conference today at 1:00. they have moved that to 4:00 to let us know what preparations they are making in response to that forecast. now normally in these situations the the besides the crew penndot already has with their salt and plow trucks they also had contractors again depending on what type of weather event that they are expected to get. now some of the things they do in preparation of the storms, that may actually already been in place or when they brine some of the highways and byways that they do have to treat beforehand. brining is usually done several days in advance. they may have those roadways treated. if they decide to treat those roadways with salt ahead of time it is best to lay down that salt, above freezing temperatures. so today like chris is saying with the temperatures that we're having around 36 degrees, right now i
