fox5's annie yu is live at the scene now. annie, what can you tell us. >> reporter: hey, erin.ell that you there are significant backups as you approach the case bridge and 14th street. we have a d.c. police officer out here directing traffic as that split happens right off the bridge and so your only choice at this point is to get off on 14th street as you mentioned. now, what we're hearing is that a truck carrying concrete somehow lost some of its concrete load and we saw -- if you see right there the gentleman straight ahead, they were brushing off some of the debris off the roadway but also off the actual bridge up there and so we think maybe the truck hit that as it was passing through. so, the truck is further in closer to the southeast-southwest freeway at this point and it looks like they're just now letting the cars get through, maybe it's just one lane right now or possibly you still have a lot of work crews in the way. but up until this point all lanes were closed as you approach southeast-southwest freeway. again, your bailout is 14th street bridge. but we can tell

(anny hong): dry and pleasant weather will continue through the weekend. by monday some blustery winds may develop coast and hills as a front reaches far northern california but dry weather will continue for the bay area. a secondary dry cool front may reach the area by about thursday but then a warm ridge will build by next weekend. (marty) an 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the london subway attack. the man was arrested near a port on the english channel, about 70 miles from london. the attack happened friday morning when a bomb partially exploded on a train. 29 people were injured. police are calling the arrest significant. but the terror threat level is still listed as "critical." the man has not been charged or identified. (marty) in the wake of the london tube attack -- bart police say they plan to continue their additional patrols indefinitely. yesterday bart added more uniformed officers to downtown san francisco and oakland stations. there is no timeline for how long those additional patrols will remain. bart is also asking for

our annie yu is live in the news room with the very latest details on this story. good morning, wisdom and erin. so many people are concerned about ashanti billie. family and friends are all working together at this point to help find her. meanwhile, the fbi norfolk office did release this new picture of ashanti billie yesterday. the fbi says they met with ashanti's family and are continue, to search for the 19-year-old who has been missing for almost a week and a half. two local women organized a big volunteer search, a group of more than 100 people scoured the norfolk and virginia beach area to search for ashanti billie. billy went missing on september 18th. we've been reporting on this for the last week and a half. surveillance video captured her car driving onto a military beach. her car was seen leaving a half hour later and there's been no sign of her since. she never showed up at the blimpy sandwich shop where she worked. days later her car was found abandoned 12 miles away from the base and her cell phone was found at another location tossed in a dumpster.

annie yu is live in the news room with the latest, annie. >> good morning to you wisdom and maureen. florida residents are getting a first look at homes or what's left of them following hurricane irma. although residents are lining up to survey the damage access to neighbors have been limited at times. as for the hardest hit florida keys reentry ended last night due to curfew r few. residents will be allowed to come back in. they're asked to bring in food wane water and the area is under a boil water adv advisory. now the florida department of transportation says the br bridges between the islands have been inspected and they're all structurally sound and transportation officials say two sections of u.s. one washed away by irma one at mile marker 3 and other at 75 have been repaired. fema estimate 25% of homes in the keys have been destroyed and even more damage. so far 18 people died in the storm and statewide we can tell you millions remain without electricity and many without basics like food, gas and water and officials are also warping residents that cellphone service is spotty.

annie. >> good morning to you maureen and wisdom. it is literally were undisaster to the next for these crews. nationwide there are 28 search and rescue teams who report to fema during times of disaster. all were called into texas for hurricane harvey and now they are all gearing up and ready for irma. here locally search and rescue teams from both maryland and virginia are already in place in some areas. right now virginia's task force two is in puerto rico as irma slammed the caribbean. the 45 member team was airlifted to puerto rico along with all of their equipment as well as their vehicles and they are prepared to carry out pretty much anything from rescue and recovery missions under a long list of situations. you've got flash flooding situations to structural collapses. they are ready for it. virginia task force one out of fairfax county and maryland task force one out of even make it back home from texas when they learned they would be deploying to alabama to get ready for irma. maryland's hazmat team has been diverted to stra
