reporter anser hassan with the latest on this. anser? >> reporter: good morning, guys.. they won't have an update until about 7:00 a.m. the fire was put out quickly and minimal damage to the building. it was limited to burn marks near the front door and damage to the window. the call came in around 11:00 p.m. late last night. the fire was quickly put out but investigators remained on scene until about midnight. no major damage to the building or surrounding businesses. one witness says he saw someone light the fire and then took off running. >> i saw someone put something down and ran away. a few second later the flames went up in the air and got bigger and bigger. i called 911. by the time they got here it died out on its own. >> reporter: police wouldn't confirm any reports whether they have a suspect in custody but did say no one was injured. anser hassan, abc 7 news. >>> by the end of today the jury will be selected for the ghost ship warehouse fire trial. court officials say the pool of qualified jurors will be narrowed down to 12 with six alternates. opening state
