abc seven news reporter anser hassan is live on the scene. unser give us a sense of what's going on there. >> yeah. dion good afternoon. we just spoke with contra costa county district one supervisor chanel preston soquel's. she says that there all the employees have been evacuated. there may be a report of one employee who may have suffered minor injuries, but we don't know the extent. as you can see behind me, still huge plumes of smoke coming out from the refinery. and getting and also off to the left. you may see some flaring, but flaring at a refinery is usually controlled. burning of excess combustible gas that are produced during normal operations or in emergencies. now scales preston says this fire is being reported as a level two notification. that means there may have been hazardous material released or could be released. contra costa county health officials released a public advisory, as you mentioned, saying that this incident could impact residents in martinez and pacheco, and they're advising those individuals with respiratory p

anser hassan abc seven news. >> former forty-niner dana stubblefield is a free man tonight. his lawyer tells abc seven news stubblefield was released from prison late last night after a santa clara county judge ordered his immediate release. in december, an appeals court overturned sbblefield's 2020 rape conviction, determining prosecutors made racially discriminatory statements during his trial. that's a violation of california's racial justice act. california's attorney general's office is appealing the overturned conviction to the state supreme court. the removal of the controversial bike lane on valencia street has been pushed back. according to the chronicle, san francisco transportation officials said the wet weather delayed the start of the project. it had been scheduled to start monday. the project is going to remove the bike lane that runs down the center of valencia street and replace it with side running bike lanes. construction is said to cost over $1 million and take 2 to 3 months to complete. the new start date for construction is february 18th. still ahead on
