that's where abc 7's laura anthony has been talking to people this morning. >> eric, as the sun comesup here, the activity also is increasing here. i have an update on some of the numbers for you. about 100 people we're told by the red cross, 100 people registered since the disaster last night that has registered for assistance. about 37 families represented by those 100 people. told now a dozen, 12 actually spent the night here at the shelter. folks obviously are finding other accommodations with friends and family. we can show you what's been going on here since last night. a gathering of food, supplies, blankets, pillows. this is spontaneous donation as red cross calls it. these showed up at the door here, people wanting to help in any way they can now. we also spoke this morning with randy schwartz. he's the community services director here in san bruno. he said they're getting lots of assistance from outside the community. >> it's something that happens quite often during a disaster because everybody wants to have -- don't know quite what to do. so they gather up their blankets o
