it's certainly not antigun, it's recognizing we have millions of guns in this country in people's homesrotect the very families that are put at risk when they are loaded and unlocked and unsecured in that home. >> you're making a difference here and oftentimes you've got the antigun, pro gun world and never the two shall meet. but i know that you sat down, you had focus groups with gun owners, gun rights activists. >> yes. >> what was their sentiment when you sat with them and how do they feel about this initiative? >> they are fully supportive of this initiative. we had such interesting conversations. and one of the things that i think is important about this campaign is whether you're a gun owner or you're not a gun owner, the idea that a gun is used unintentionally to harm people, that it's meant to secure, is vileti violative of any standard of the kinds of homes that gun owners want to have. they're very supportive of this. but beyond that, i think what we're hungry for as someone that's head of an organization, is a way to foster -- i will say historically that the nra is safe sto
