(steve) one of the cases taking a deadly turn for a father in antioch. this man -- martin galindo died after eating nacho cheese from a gas station in walnut grove. the 37 year old was taken off of life support after battling the disease. he was a father of two. another victim --- 33 year old lavinia kelly. the mother of three pulled over for a snack at valley oak food and fuel last month. within hours she had double vision, slurred speech and muscle weakness. all symptoms of the disease. she has been in the hospital for weeks. and a 16 year old is the youngest patient hospitalized with botulism. johnny villasenor is a sophomore at a school near sacramento. his principal says he was just grabbing a snack at the station. then fell sick and has been in the hospital for over a month. while patients can recover from botulism, doctors say it takes weeks or even months.
