a bus carrying seniors was actually hit by another car on highway four in antioch. several of them got hurt and they were taken to the hospital. when we heard about it, we sent jody hernandez out there today. she joins us live now. my first question is to you. >> reporter: what started out as a very fun morning of activities at the antioch senior center, turned into something else. some cars collided. fortunately, we are told that all six of the seniors on board the bus were able to walk out of the bus with the assistance of the driver and some good samaritans that stopped to help. they all ahead to be transported to the hospital. and i did check with the bus company a short time ago. they were trying to check up on the seniors. they told me that they are still at the hospital being examined and being treated. it appeared that the injuries were minor but again, they are still being treated at the hospital. what is sad about this is that it started out as such a great day for the seniors. they were here listening to a live band. they were having lunch. i'm told that
