police in antioch are investigating 2 separate shootings that happened on the same day. one man was killed and another victim is in critical condition. police responded to one shooting around 10 in the morning on monday and that was off of rockford drive. they found a 26 year-old man who had been shot several times. he was taken to the hospital where he ended up dying. and then earlier that morning there was a shooting and a robbery at gentry town park around one in the morning. the victim in that case is in critical condition. >> meanwhile, a change in leadership is coming to the antioch police department. city leaders are expected to appoint a new acting chief of police this week. the appointment comes as the city and department of justice resolve the race discrimination case that started back in 2022, the investigation resulted in nearly half of the antioch police officers being put on leave for racist text messages and a larger corruption scandal. it also led to several convictions part of this agreement. now, as for officers to get training on non discriminatory pol
