antoinette sandbach, thank you very much for coming on and explaining your position.ing at this afternoon. it is raining already and quite heavily in some parts of western scotland. this is the last few hours, pushing into western parts, northern and western parts of northern ireland and it spreads southwards and eastwards. along with increasing cloud. the far south and east of the country had some earlier showers but it will mostly stay dry, the cloud increasing but still with sunny spells fault we will continue to see rain coming and going in northern england, northern ireland and much of mainland scotland. quite a blustery day in the north with winds gusting around 30—40 mph. lighter winds in the south where it might feel a touch warmer than yesterday, even with the cloud, temperatures around 22 but cool in western scotla nd around 22 but cool in western scotland and northern ireland at 15 or 16. this evening in the rush hour, rain at times in northern england and northern parts of wales, northern ireland and scotland. it becomes lighter and patches through the nig
