our institutions are failing talia, bella, aol, jonathan and countless other students. the attacks on october 7 shocked the conscious of the world marking the deadliest day for the jewish people since the holocaust. however, this was meant with callous cruelties at universities across america. at harvard, 30 student radical organizations blamed israel for attacks against innocent israelis only for the group's actions to be brazenly defended by the harvard president as, quote, free expression. following our remarks today, the students will join my colleagues at the education and work force committee hearing where harvard, m.i.t. and penn's leadership will likely defend desperately their indefensible recent actions and the campus culture that's enabled semitism on their campuses. any voice that defends the massacre has chosen the side of terrorism. i demand the president of harvard resign and schools like it are prohibited from collecting taxpayer dollars. in the words of a holocaust survivor and jewish advocate who dedicated his life to ensure the horrors of the holocaus
