connected cars, for health care applications, you know, it's crucial for the industries of the future to be able to grow and thrive. >> so it seems like here in washington the whole ap rat it is is geared up -- apparatus is geared up to head us toward 5g. congress appears to be onboard, has passed some legislation. the federal communications, which i cover, talks a lot about 5g and talking steps. and the trump administration, maybe you can fill us in on that. how's the administration doing, in your point of view, in advancing the 5g that your companies will help build? >> guest: well, todd, you're exactly right. every element of the federal government is really behind this 5g. we couldn't ask for more support from the fcc, from congress and from the white house as well as support we're getting in state legislatures across the country. all of them are trying to do the best they can to remove barriers to deployment, to create more opportunities for spectrum and to help get people trained. what we need to make 5g work is more spectrum as soon as we can get it, we need to eliminate barriers to siting of wireless infrastructure, and we need to make sure we have people pr
