they are much less experienced appellate advocates. i was the other career path. did not have a whole lot. let's be frank. my first argument was my first argument before the supreme court. it was in citizens united. so it was an important case. it was a reargument. it had been hurt the year before. a deputy solicitor and rohan argued it when it was going to be a smaller case. the court decided to make it a bigger case. it was no secret that the core had done this because they get to the end of the term and the issue an order that says this case will be re-argued. we will consider whether to over role to cases. they name the two cases. there were two cases that were the foundation stones of the courts doctrines about campaign finance regulation. it was pretty clear that this small case had just become a large case. it was also pretty clear that the government was about to lose this large case. because the court just doesn't do things. it was clearly that the court was doing this because they were going to decide they were going to roll these cases we didn't want to
