apple is getting whacked? >> sure. the nature of corrective phases like this is you sell your high beta stuff first, low quality stuff first. as you get through a pullback, you are finally left to the coreortfolio. surprise. the bigger losses are coming from the best names. home depot, apple, facebook. schwab. these are names you want to see come in here as kind of the last names to go on the down side. and now you're done. >> i'm assuming based on your comments, you are going to be buying stocks. this is a multiyear thing and things are just discounted now four. >> it really is. give this time. it's going to take several weeks to work out. we think the fed is completely out for september. >> are you buying? >> yes. the names i've given you. >> a volatile few days for social media stocks. twitter shares rebounding today. up fractionally after losing about 9% yesterday to close below the ipo price of $26 for the first time. facebook also very volatile. down over 4% today. it's now down more than 10% from its all-time high which was last month. now down 4%. linkedin hovering around the flat line after falling 3% yesterday. yelp shares falling another 3% after falling almost 8% yesterday.

apple is supposed to do stuff better than other people do it. they are feeling sting that their music service is not enough better. they have magic at its corewhen they release something that isn't that dings everything they do. a 20-channel tv service over the top is not rocket science to do, it's mostly about rights. what can they do to make it special? if they have to wait six months or a year, that's smart. >> okay, start-ups competing to build a uber for health care. basically going back to house calls. good idea? bad idea? >> good idea, depends who the market is. health care is way behind the time of technology, and i would love to see my grandmother use this service but she doesn't know how to use her cell phone. it's one of the things if they can get the entire health care to move forward, then they have a chance. i go to clients now and they have paper documentation, there is no electronic medical record there. they need to move forward with that first and maybe it takes off. deirdre: new jersey turnpike fire and chinese explosion caught on camera and posted on social media. >> oh, my gosh.
