. >> reporter: two months ago ardmore florist wally says a customer used a fake hundred dollar bill tol arrangement. the customer ran off when he and his wife became suspicious. his bank used a counterfeit pen on the fake bill. >> it should swipe yellow. >> reporter: similar scam was used in the counterfeiting episode on friday at this dsw off wynnewood road some one used a fake bill to buy a pair of $20 sandals. that was just one of two scams that day in the same shopping center. on friday, according to police a man walk in the bed bath and beyond and use five, counterfeit 20-dollar bills to buy a piece of electronic equipment. two days later he tried to return to it get real cash but police were able to id him and charges are pending. police are working to see if they are related. there are different suspect descriptions involved. harry althouse says he hold a 20-dollar bill up to the light. if he sees that dark line there in between the numbers it is an indication that the money is real. >> i never like to see people get other businesses or anybody get ripped off. >> reporter: polic
