joining me now strategist and president obama 2012 pollster, cornell belcher and ari fleisher.house press techsatec techsecretary for george w. bush. cornell, sounds like the president out there publicly criticizing wall street in order to score political points, that's what the critics are saying, while the campaign is privately telling them, don't worry about it. it's just talk. is that a fair assessment or not? >> i don't think that's a fair assessment, at all. look. i don't think there's anything wrong with the campaign saying we won't demonize wall street. quite frankly, we don't want to demonize wall street. we need wall street to be healthy but we need them to be accountable and responsible. look at the legislation pushed in the historic wall street reform, it is legislation that's going to hold them accountable and go after the bad practices that got us in this problem. there's no inconsistency there at all. we don't want to demonize wall street. we want wall street to play -- >> hasn't that -- >> and play by the same set of rules that everyone else is playing by. >> th

ari fleisher, no one anticipated this entire sweep.e staying power, wolf? >> yes. he does have some staying power. he's got a voice out there that's resonating with a lot of republicans, a lot of conservatives. look how well he did in iowa. originally he didn't win, he lost by a couple dozen votes, then they recounted and he won by a dozen votes. he worked hard in iowa. he spent days and days, weeks and weeks there. didn't have the resources that mitt romney and some of the other candidates did, but he did very, very well. now he's done well yesterday, so i suspect he has some staying power. my own gut so far tells me, brooke, they're going to stay in this race for the time being. they're not going anywhere. ron paul said if he were to bill out, gingrich said to me point blank, he thinks this could go all the way to the convention in august in tampa. mitt romney is not going anywhere, newt gingrich says he's staying in. this thing could go on for several months. >> even if it goes altogethl th to august, it's down 10% this primary seas
