cedric, ariva, good morning to you. up the book because these are public service jobs first, right? but after what we're seeing, the spate of incidents across the country, you've got the 75-year-old man who's in stable but serious condition, who's bleeding from the ear in buffalo. is this what the national security adviser calls, you know, we've heard the phrase, a few bad apples, or is this something more? is this cultural? >> to be honest with you, just cultural. you know, it's unfortunate the time that we're in when people really need to join with police in light of the incident back on may 25th and incidents prior to that. we're just continuing to see more separation. but i have been saying in recent days, and i have been saying for years, we have wonderful men and women inside our police department. but we have cultural, structural issues that really need to be addressed and hopefully will be addressed during this whole look into police reform in this country. >> you see here two officers, they've been placed -- i

. >> first ariva, i want to play about what the district attorney set about possible charges as well as brooks' demeanor in the video? >> i can tell you definitely probably sometime around wednesday, we will be making a decision in this case. when i saw that footage that you just displayed, that conversation went on about 22 minutes with mr. brooks talking with these two officers. it's very difficult when you see it, when you see the demeanor of mr. brooks, to imagine that some short time later it ends up with him being dead. >> how do you describe his demeanor? >> i thought that it was cordiality. he was very cooperative, he answered the questions that the officers asked. he does not seem to present a threat to anyone. >> ariva, again that is the district attorney examining this sedation. does that and i have give you confidence charges are coming? >> those answers do give me confidence, ana. i see the video the same way the district attorney does. i see a very compliant african-american man who has been asked to step out of his car, who even says yes, sir to the officers, doing eve
