this morning, they started off at only 16 degrees. 14 was the morning low in arlington. seven was the low in upper marlboro maryland. the wind has settled down. temperatures are holding. hagerstown is now at 26. the cold air toward the northeast. the really cold air is off to the north and west. this is the cold air that will arrive in our area late monday. by tuesday, i can guarantee you will not want to go outside with temperatures only in the teens in the afternoon hours. this front will drop a ton of snow across michigan and ohio. we are looking at the potential for freezing rain later tonight. that is why the national weather service has issued a freezing rain advisory west of the seat -- d.c. that starts in the morning. the further south and west you go, it starts at 2:00 in the morning. i do not think they will expand it because temperatures will warm up quickly. 9:00 in the morning, just at freezing. we will lift the moisture. by 5:00, temperatures will be around 40 degrees. that is when you would think temperatures would start to go down, but that is not the cas
