they reported their most recent take to the federal election commission overnight and we asked armen keteyian to tell us where the big money is coming from. >> thank you! >> reporter: the source of mitt romney's political firepower became clear just hours after his victory in florida. the federal election commission's data released late last night showed the superpac supporting romney "restore our future" raised $18 million between july and december, 2011, including three donations of a million dollars each. the seven-figure contributors tilted toward wall street. investment advisor julian robertson, hedge fund manager paul singer and financial consultant robert mercer all gave a million dollars. overall, restore our future took in 59 donations of $100,000 or more in the last six months of 2011. jim and alice walton-- heirs to the wal-mart fortune-- were in that group. by comparison, the superpac backing newt gingrich "winning our future" lagged far behind. it raised $2 million in the last six months of 2011. the money came from 18 donors, including a million dollars from the step children of

us to ask our investigative unit to have a look, and here's chief investigative correspondent armen keteyian. >> reporter: the fake cancer-treating drug contained no active ingredient. it was purchased from a company called montana health care solutions, whose address traces to this house in tiny belgrade, montana. the counterfeit drug eventually found its way to at least 19 doctors in three state. the avastin case exposes the dangers of suppliers operating on the fringes of the prescription drug market. they often advertise drugs at much lower prices to doctors and medical clinics. according to state records, montana health care solutions was started by a man named paul bottomley. in text messages to cbs news, bottomley said that montana hiewk solutions closed its doors in 2010 and he knew nothing of this avastin matter. but in march 2011, one doctor's office we contacted received this price list from the company. it shows bottomley as the company's business development director. on the price list, avastin sells for $1,995 per 400 milligram vile, 400 less from the average price from legitim

armen keteyian got an advance look at a new government report on the federal air marshal service. >> reporter: the inspector general's report obtained by cbs news offers a contradictory view of a federal agency in charge of protecting the flying public. the 112-page report the result of a two-year investigation into allegations of discrimination and retaliation within the service found federal air marshals repeatedly betrayed their supervisors as vindictive, aggressive and guilty of favoritism. in addition, 33% of female employees believed they had been discriminated against. a total of 454 formal and informal equal opportunity complaints were filed by employees between september, 2006, and april, 2011. and employees' perceptions of discrimination and retaliation are extensive. despite all this, the report concluded "our review does not support a finding of widespread discrimination and retaliation. senator bill nelson of florida is one of the members of congress who called for investigation. >> if there is a lack of professionalism, especially among law enforcement type folks then t
