this is what it looks like from stormtracker 6 live as hurricane arthur you is in the process of making lands fall. reporter joel brown from sister station wtb d is braving elements on outer banks and shows us what it's like from kill devil hills. >> can i till we are starting to feel the first few drops of rain and outer bands of hurricane arthur and primarily this is overnight storm and worst of hurricane arthur and expected on outer banks in wee hours of morning and folks sheltered in place in kill devil hills are in for a late night. ocean behind me and surf rough. high tide comes midnight and if the storm makes land fall then it dramatically increases storm surge. we can see 3 to 5 feet of storm surge which puts highway twelve main road up and down the outer banks under a big layer of water and sand. emergency management officials are watching for that very closely. if there is some good news it is that this is a very fast moving storm. it should be in and out by sometime tomorrow afternoon. an can i tell you there are a lot of folks up and down this very delicate chain of barrier islands hoping to survive this s
