in the maryland officials continue investigation into what caused the deadly plane crash in anne arundel county. it went down in the yard of the single-family home. >> right behind me is with a single-engine airplane crashed. you can see how close it is to this home. the was one person in the home when the plane crashed into got out safely. although the plane crashed in a residential area and no one on the ground was injured. richard mayo lives at home close by and heard the crash. when he looked outside -- >> i saw there was something in the tree on fire in the poultry was on fire. there was fire all over the ground. i guess the fuel ignited on the ground. >> when firefighters arrived on the scene at around 4:30 p.m., the plan was on fire at the time of their arrival. crews extinguished it. it was determined there was one occupant who suffered a life- threatening -- fatal injuries as a result was pronounced dead at the scene. >> according to the airport manager the airplane flew out of lee airport, a quarter of a mile from where crash. it was registered to joseph kelly of annapolis. the
