i'm tracking showers as we head into tomorrow. going to be a washout, there are a few chances throughout the day. we also have a moderate risk for rip currents and warmer temperatures in store for us as we head to sunday. right now, look at the city skyline, we're seeing mostly clear skies, a few clouds out there, this evening. still mild 73 degrees, one speeds out of the southeast at 3 miles an hour. 73 in reading, 70 degrees in mt. holly, 69d in atlantic city. 72 in stone harbor and temperatures at 70 degrees in dover. not too bad out there right now. satellite radar shows those clouds lingering, just like i was seeing slowly starting to see a few of these showers pushing into wilmington and starting to crossover into parts of delaware it's all a part of this weather disturbance which will send most of the moisture to the north of us it's going to drift closer to us by the morning. we have another batch of showers that's going to pushoff shore. what we're going to focus on is all the moisture going to head our way toward tomorro

it will be stalling as we go across the weekend and what happens with that means we are going to keep the clouds and the rain in the forecast and across saturday, some of that will be trying to move up to the north. here's what future weather is showing for tonight. a few light showers still in the evening forecast. clouds will stick around. tomorrow, i really don't think it will be a bad day. slight chance of a shower tomorrow afternoon but overall we will be on the drier side. mix of sun and clouds. then we go into saturday watch what happens. more cloud cover moves in showers just to our south by saturday morning which could easily move a little farther to the north and by saturday afternoon, we have a pretty fair chance for a scattered shower across the area or even isolated thunderstorms. that's going to stay in the forecast saturday afternoon. saturday night we are not going to completely clear out just yet. so far, it does look like we could have a slight chance in the forecast. best chance will be south of philadelphia. by sunday, we will start to see more sunshine developing.

as we go into the next couple of days it looks like we will see this rain off and on, but you can feel the difference in the air with the high humidity this morning as you walk out the door. so not really typical of this time of year to get some rain, even with the monsoon we don't see much of that moving into the bay area, but it's happening now and i think a lot of us will welcome it. 62 degrees in oakland now as you walk out the door and temperatures have really not dropped that much since yesterday when we first saw the showers and the clouds moving in. in the future cast we still see a chance of rain as we go through this evening. so even if we take a break i think with the daytime heating we could see more of those showers, possibly some thunderstorms firing up again. we will do it all over again tomorrow. so definitely a big change in this pattern as we go into the next couple of days we may have some of that rain off and on. i'm going to show you this because if it actually does happen it will probably be pretty awesome before the holiday weekend. this is the estimated rainfall
