[applause] crist: are you saying there are so many races in the republican party could remain a republican? what is the work here is a pretty simple thing. if you remember back in 2008 in some of the e-mails distributed about the president by some members, not all of the republican party they weren't exactly flattering and i think you can research and find out what i'm talking about it but it wasn't right. i can tell you that their reaction i've gotten from some in the republican party leadership was horrible and it was clear to me it wasn't just because i was willing to work across that what the democrats to get the recovery funds to cover florida paos also apparent to me because it was the first african-american president. i don't enjoy saying that. it's not what is fun to say but i'm going to tell the truth and those are the facts. >> moderator: governor scott. scott: charlie you are divisive. you are mudslinger. you are a divider. the entire time you're you've been in politics we

talks about being pro gun and centrist and a lot of it sounds like what you heard. >> you have asa hutchinson and similarly pryor over cotton by two points. you have tight races in both cases. what do you think the clinton effect will be in campaigning down there? >> he will be there again next week. they think he can really help. i think it's about turn out. he's going to pine bluff which is of the poorest cities in the country. larnlly african-american population. bill clinton said the key to pryor defeating cotton will be if democrats turn out. >> you have been watching and covering hillary clinton and it seems to me that every signal now that the child that chelsea clinton's child, charlotte, has been born. it's only a matter of months before we get that announcement. >> i agree. i think it's just a matter of when, not if. if they consider her running? could she change her mind? yes, but all signs point to when, not if. >> bill clinton has an ad for allison grimes. he was close with her father who is an old political family. he is probably the most popular surrogate in democratic circles.

we welcome you back for more of the 2014 gubernatorial debate between mike ross and asa hutchinson. it is now angela taylor's turned to ask the next question. >> this has been debated by the courts and attorney general. where do you stand on open carry? >> i am a lifetime member of the nra. i earned an a from them in this campaign and an a plus each year that i was in congress. i have a concealed carry permit. in terms of open carry, there are some who believe that because of a change in legislative laws in recent years , perhaps it is legal. the attorney general has ruled that it is not legal. no one is more pro-gun than i am, but i think we have to be very careful on this. i will work with the legislature to see what we need to do on it. i have concerns talking to mom's who are out shopping and see ameone coming in carrying gun. are they a bad guy? they have serious concerns about trying to distinguish between the good guys and bad guys. i have serious concerns about concealed carry. amended a lawture that said you can carry as long as there is not criminal intent. that is how mos
