that's in the ashland area, san leandro. let me get out of your way and show the video the chopper took. it was dramatic footsage. all these cars smashed up at the united auto center. there's a big rig, flatbed tows and all of these trucks smashed there. no injuries. the roadway only closed for a couple of lanes right at that portion of that one block by that business so that's better news. dramatic pictures, but a smoother flowing commute. so we'll take you back to the roadways now. thank you for that chopper footage. we'll go over toward the castro valley y. typical pattern right here. we also have some slowing as you might expect through livermore, west 580. not a problem through pleasanton and into sunol but that will build and we'll have a thursday slowdown coming closer to 7:30 to 8:00. the south bay itself moves smoothly as well but we have that slowdown kicking in and that one will stick for the morning heading up toward 880 and the airport. 87 really slow as you're approaching kirtner and heading into downtown. we s
