ashley sears is in the newsroom with the latest. ashley? police tell us 39-year-old kevin dalley and his daughter 9-year-old emily dalley died in the crash. dalley's 6-year-old daughter survived. it happened at 4 mile road and old farm road around 4:45 tonight. investigators say two vehicles were traveling east on 4 mile road. a sedan with a father and two daut road and was rear ended by a truck going very fast. police say the driver of the truck was intoxicated. first responders rushed to the scene to help. sadly, the father and daughter did not survive. theres nothing that will put this familys lives back together. its the holiday season. their holidays will never be the same, all because some guy has to go out and drink and with what police say are minor injuries. the driver of the truck was arrested for two counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle. we are told this is his second o-w-i. live in the newsroom, ashley sears fox 6 news. steph thanks ashley it's official. the first ever statewide recount of a presidential elec

live in the newsroom, ashley sears fox 6 news. steph thanks ashley statewide recount of a presidential election in wisconsin will start next week. election officials now have just weeks, to re-check nearly 3-million votes. fox 6's ben handelman talked with one officials who says this could be good for the state. it will be costly-- over a million bucks by one estimate. time consuming--- there are worries the deadline can not be reached. but the wisconsin green party says it is necessary and ready to pay for it. after an election season where even the president-elect called the system beneficial. get ready for a recount! we are not doing this for the benefit of one candidate over the other. were doing this for the benefit of the american public. all of the votes cast in wisconsin's presidential election, will be checked again. this after green party leaders file paperwork saying they are worried about exit polling data that didn't pan out. that sum of variation could be expected to occur once in every 850 presidential elections. tha

live at red arrow park, ashley sears fox 6 news. traffic downtown. and police are still trying to keep up with them. our bret lemoine joins us live to continue our coverage. it started with a rally at red arrow park - but within a few minutes, the protesters took to the streets. the crowd swelled as the anti-trump demonstrators weaved their way water and turned onto 'east wisconsin avenue.' there were several stops along the way where the crowd re-grouped - one of those locations was 4-th and wisconsin near the wisconsin center. as they went down toward state street, milwaukee police officers were on horseback in front of the b-mo harris bradley center. there was briefly concern the group may start walking on the interstate.... but instead, they marched down 6-th street and onto mckinley. ultimately, the group made its way anticipate their moves all night - blocking traffic and streets within a block radius along the route. along the way, we saw many people stuck in their cars. some honked in support; others called the protesters 'cry babies.' one wo
